Paella Chef Mallorca – Terms & Conditions of Service
1. Arrival Time & Event Setup
The Paella Chef Mallorca team will arrive between 2 and 3 hours before the scheduled service time, depending on the size and complexity of the event. This window ensures sufficient time for setup, preparation, and quality control so that service begins punctually at the agreed time.
If the service duration is extended beyond the originally agreed schedule due to client-related reasons, or if additional services are requested on the day of the event, additional charges may apply per hour or per modification.
The Paella Chef Mallorca allows a grace period of up to 30 minutes beyond the agreed end time, at no extra cost, provided this does not interfere with subsequent bookings or logistical constraints.

2. Allergens & Dietary Requirements
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Paella Chef Mallorca of any food allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements at least 15 days prior to the event.
Failure to provide this information in advance releases Paella Chef Mallorca from any liability related to allergic reactions or dietary incidents.
An allergen reference table is available upon request and may also be provided on the day of the event for transparency and guest guidance.

3. Public Liability Insurance
Paella Chef Mallorca holds valid public liability insurance, covering potential personal injury or property damage directly caused by our operations during service.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the allocated working area is safe, accessible, and suitable for the installation and operation of cooking equipment.

4. Hygiene, Safety & Operational Requirements
To guarantee safe and efficient service, the client must ensure the following conditions are met:
Access to clean potable water for cooking and cleaning purposes
A reliable power supply within 10 metres of the cooking area
A designated space for staff to change and wash hands if required
A clean working environment free from animals or other potential hygiene risks
Adequate lighting in case of low-visibility conditions (where applicable)
If these minimum requirements are not met, Paella Chef Mallorca reserves the right to adjust or suspend service without liability for resulting limitations.

5. Distance & Access Conditions
If the cooking area is located more than 30 metres from the unloading point, or requires climbing more than 10 steps, a surcharge of 40€ per staff member will apply due to increased logistical effort.

6. Product Quality & Sourcing
Paella Chef Mallorca is committed to using fresh, high-quality ingredients in all preparations.
Where appropriate, certain seafood products may be frozen at origin under controlled conditions to ensure optimal safety, preservation, and consistency without compromising flavour or quality standards.

7. Additional Services & Supplements
Our service includes the dedicated presence of professional chefs exclusively assigned to your event.
The following supplements apply depending on requirements:
Up to 20 guests (kitchen service): 200€
Over 20 guests (kitchen service): 3€ per additional guest
All additions must be confirmed in advance and are subject to availability.

8. Waiter Service & Cleaning Policy
Waiter service is not included unless explicitly agreed in advance and must be contracted separately.
Paella Chef Mallorca is responsible for cleaning and clearing all equipment, surfaces, and waste directly generated by our service (food preparation and service materials).
We are not responsible for the removal or management of external waste such as bottles, packaging, decorations, or items provided by the client or third parties.
All equipment brought by Paella Chef Mallorca remains our property and will be collected at the end of the event.

9. Changes & Modifications to Booking
Any changes to guest numbers, menu selection, or additional services must be communicated no later than 7 days before the event.
After this deadline, modifications may not be accepted or may incur additional costs depending on operational feasibility and resource availability.
Paella Chef Mallorca reserves the right to accept or decline late changes.

10. Weather Conditions
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing suitable alternative arrangements in case of adverse weather conditions (e.g. covered space, relocation, or rescheduling).
If no viable alternative is available, Paella Chef Mallorca cannot be held responsible for cancellation or limitations affecting service delivery.

11. Equipment Ownership
All cooking equipment, utensils, and materials provided by Paella Chef Mallorca remain the property of the company.
Any items accidentally left at the venue due to special circumstances must be returned or made available for collection.

12. Media & Promotional Use
The client agrees that Paella Chef Mallorca may use event imagery for marketing and social media purposes.
No identifiable individuals will be featured prominently without prior consent, in accordance with applicable GDPR regulations.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes arising from the service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Palma de Mallorca, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.

14. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of a 50% deposit constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
No physical or digital signature is required for validity of agreement.
